[PEGA 7.1.6] Pega Agent to Defragment OOTB DB Tables
Hello,
I have heard that there is a Pega Agent that runs each night and defragments OOTB DB Tables, specifically PR_SYS_LOCKS. However, when I search in Pega 7.1.6, I can find no related functionality. When I search in Pega 7.2.1, I believe I have found a related Activity called pxDefragment. I have also found Dynamic System Settings (DSS), which also seem related to a Pega Agent calling this pxDefragment Activity. Unfortunately, I still cannot find the Pega Agent that would use this Activity or the DSS.
Does this Pega Agent actually exist? If so, in which version of Pega is it available?

Hello Fran,
There is no agent its a daemon. Dynamic System Settings control when and how often defragmentation takes place using DefragSysLocksDaemon.
