PE 8.7 Installs but does not function correctly even after reinstall
Hi, I have a new laptop on which I have installed PE8.7. The install did not go as documented and I had to run the install more than once to get it to complete. I have tried deleting and starting again but with the same outcome.
Starting the application I got an error that required me to update a DSS for pega-uiengine!constellationsvcURL
I can start and open the application and have created my own 'React' application in the instance but I keep getting problems (blue ring) when I try to follow the UI elements in App Studio (configure view etc).
I dont know if the problem is with the initial install not working as expected or if its a problem with the React Application.
Any help gratefully received

@MarijeSchillern Its possibly useful, the problem I have is even in the first link I am asked to install the Constellation package, choosing the "using Helm for Kubernetes" option, I am asked to create a namespace to which I want to deploy. I dont know if this was half setup by the Personal Edition so if any values are predetermined (or if not can I call it anything? Do I need to save it?) etc.
Is it the case that in the personal edition we should not use and create Cosmos React applications because it requires too much unknown configuration requirements - Or is my problem the result of an unusual install and I should fix that? Should Personal Editions work out the box for the applications you are allowed to create?

8.6 personal edition does not ship with a 'built-in' Cosmos React UI Service - you will have to install it yourself on your machine using one of the deployment options (docker for example) and then point to this static content server by updating the DSS

Did you already make use of Docker?
Would you like me to find the original SME to that post? There is no P.E. SME as such but you might be able to find the relevant UI resource internally.

@MarijeSchillern The last update I have is that the 8.7 React application is asking constellation for some UI elements that dont exist, so at the moment its a problem with the 8.7 PE code... I am waiting for a response...

@morrg I understand that you spoke to someone about this issue. Could you confirm what was the conclusion? Did the issue relate to the fact that P.E. has limitations w.r.t the Constellation service?
