You can define different class groups to store the parent and child cases in separate tables. Attached for your reference
WarrantyClaim (Class group: XXX-APPNAME-Work-Claim) --- Parent
PartRequest (Class group: XXX-APPNAME-Work-Part) - Child

You can store the datatable instances of a child case and parent case in separate database tables by creating a separate Data-Admin-DB-Table instance for the child case. This allows you to associate a child class with a table that is different from its parent, which can be desirable for performance, backup, space, or other reasons.
The table specified for a child class overrides the table defined for the parent class.
