Visibility of Child case properties in Parent case UI

What is the best mechanism to view a child case property in Its Parent case during the entire life cycle of child case.( as we don't know when this property will come to existence OR when it will change value during child case life cycle)

Hi

I think you need to have a placeholder property to store the value of the child case property and then you can keep tab of the same via that place holder property.

Also, have you explored the calculation tab of the case type rule ?
