we would like to stop the indexing on case related tables like work/history/attachments/DeclareIndex tables during upgrade process .

Since the experience of last upgrade of 8.8, all case related tables(work/history/attachment/DeclareIndex) got updated by changing the pxcommitdatetime to current datetime and added the duplicate entries in index tables ,the same observation was raised on Pega community(https://support.pega.com/question/declare-index-issue-after-pega-upgrade) & GCS (INC-A6048) but there was no conclusion on this.

Now we don’t want to be on the same situation again for 24.1 upgrade so please suggest which settings/jobs controls the work related indexes during the upgrade?

Does the below settings controls the only Rule & Data ?

 indexing/distributed/rebuild_indexes_onupgrade

indexing/distributed/autonodecleanupandreindex

Note:- Our EndUsers doesn't use OOTB search for look up the case as we use the custom search with various filter to browse the case .
