customize SmartInfo Display Delay on Pega 7.1.8
Currently using Pega 7.1.8 on a client application, and the default value for the SmartInfo Pop-up window is way too aggressive (1 sec). Is there a way to change this? I know there was a way to do it on Pega 6.3 (https://pdn.pega.com/how-customize-display-delay-smartinfo-pop-windows) but I have already tried that solution, but that seems not to be applicable on Pega 7.X.

I would recommend using a private checkout in the smartinfopopup js and put a debugger statement prior to the code block. var displayDelay = defaultDisplayDelay; if (typeof(gSmartInfoDisplayDelay) != "undefined") { displayDelay = gSmartInfoDisplayDelay; } Then mention what values you are seeing in each case.

Hi Rowland,
I have try the debugger statement, on 6.3 it works, on 7.1 it does not work.
But let me explain a little better. Basically I have 3 servers one is 6.3, the other is 7.1.8 and then I have 7.2.
Doing the recommended solution on the PDN, works OK for version 6.3 and I can change the delay time to whatever amount of time I want (ex. 8 seconds) and the debugger statement works. However neither in 7.1.8 or 7.2 i can't change it at all it will always display at the default 1 second, and the debugger statement do not seem to be triggering.
I should mention as well that the application is migrated from Pega 6.3 to Pega 7.1.8, so it's not a "Native" Pega 7 Application.
On Pega 7.2, which is the new server, I started a "Native" 7.2 application to test it, but it does not work there as well.
