Configuring Google Ads destinations in Paid Media Manager Error in Pega CDH 8.6.2

Hi All,

Tying to Configure Google Ads Destination in Paid media Manager  (referring https://docs-previous.pega.com/pega-customer-decision-hub-implementation-guide/86/configuring-google-ads-destinations-paid-media-manager), for doing POC. 

Unable to save the Google Ad destination created for Test account. I could see the error "Developer token entered is incorrect. Kindly review"

Getting the same error again for the below combination

  • Developer token, client ID and client secret from the Google Ads manager account. 
  • Developer token, Client customer ID of the test ad account and client secret from the Google Test client account

We have created Production Ads manager account with one google-account. Used another google account for TestManager and Testclient account as per the documentation.  

Please advice the options to create GoogleAds PIAD Media destination created for Test account for POC purpose. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello @Nanjundan Chinnasamy,

If the developer token was generated recently Google may require you use the new Google Ads API. We are working on a Hotfix to enable the use of newly generated developer tokens to utilize the updated API. 

Who is the client and what is their timeline to utilize PMM with Google Ads in production?

@Nanjundan Chinnasamy This is a significant effort that involve changes to how the API works. We are targeting next month. 

If you have an older dev token you may be able to continue to utilize that with the Google Ads API. 

You could also focus on Facebook Ads in the meantime. For the most part the capabilities are equivalent and the bulk of the setup is common to both Facebook Ads and Google Ads.

We have completed the Facebook Ads destination configuration. Google Ads destination is pending. Please keep this Thread updated once HotFix is ready.

Hi @guptn1 , @MANNM1 

As i have highlighted earlier, Google Ads destination is pending. Do you have Pega 8.6/8.7 HotFix is ready to work with brand new Google Adwords API Token? Please let us know when the HotFix is ready.
