Connection With Facebook Paid Media throwing version error

Hi,

I am trying to establish the Pega Paid Media connection with Facebook. I have successfully generated the account id and token and when trying to add the destination, it is throwing an error stating- "Exception occurred while saving destination.(#2635) You are calling a deprecated version of the Ads API. Please update to the latest version: v11.0.. Kindly check the logs for more details." I checked in Facebook for developers account and the API version is already 11.

Can someone help with this issue? We are currently using Pega Marketing for Communication v8 and Pega platform 8.5.1. I am attaching the screenshots of both Pega as well as Facebook for developer account.

@ChiranjeetM5260 I am happy to help you with this query. Could you please put some light on what are the integrations(Ad platforms) you are planning with Paid media? Are there any specific use cases you are helping with?

Please reachout to Pega support for an existing hot fix to support Facebook Ads v11 for CDH 8.5/Pega 8.5.

@MANNM1 We are planning Facebook integration. We are running a pilot use case wherein we are trying to configure the connectivity with Facebook for some dedicated audience. We are not able to understand why the version error is being returned because we checked in Facebook for developers and it shows the latest version which is 11.

@MANNM1 ..Also, I wanted to know if this issue sounds familiar to you and whether there is an already existing Pega Hfix for this. It will be really helpful if you could share the Hfix id.

@ChiranjeetM5260  Yes I did mention in previous response to reachout to Pega support for existing hotfix. Mandatory hot fixes for CDH 8.5/Pega 8.5 are listed @https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/required-pega-customer-decision-hub-and-pega-marketing-hotfixes

Ad platforms APIs get updated frequently and Pega strives to support these updates in the form of proactive hotfixes. In this case the Ad platform application is created new so it by default gets created on latest version. So it is manadatory to appl latest hot fix to support this version.  

HFix-80877 will help to address this specific version for 8.5.
