Configuring a DB Ouptut Template to write to a database synonym
Hi,
We have a requirement to have a DB output template write to a database synonym (which points to a table). We can get output templates to write to database tables, but not to the synonym. This is in an Oracle database. Is this supported?

Hi Jens,
Which version of Pega Marketing are you using? Did you verify if you have created the entry for this DB synonym in the prconfig.xml for the ExternalMKTData? There is a link below which explains a similar scenario with DB synonyms, you can refer to this.

Hi Anoojit,
We're on version 8.2. The post you linked seems to indicate that they weren't able to read from a table via a synonym. That's not the case for us, we're actually able to read the data for the customer class from a table via a synonym. We're just not able to write to a database template which references a synonym.
