Cases Stuck in Broken Process

So I have a requirement to do some clean up work for some cases.  I have several assignments that were incorrectly routed and are now part of the broken process flow.  Is there a way to either change the stage or restart the flow process for multiple assignments?  I tried using the pxRestartStage activity, however when I refresh the case there are multiple assignments.  Once assignment is correct and at the beginning stage, the other assignment is still in the broken process.  How to I restart or move the assignment completely out of broken process stage?

You can create an activity to loop on broken instances and relaunch them all one by one. I guess it might be difficult to find a common way for restarting those instance because they might have been broken differently.
