Cant get 7.19 VM to start. The player does not display the URL

I have tried both the VM Workstation 12 and  Virtual Box players when they start the URL displays as http://9080  no  ip address   is provided.   Are there network config steps to run or is there an admin account that can be logged into to do an ifconfig.
