[email protected] password change
In Pega 7.4, when you try to log in as [email protected] at the first time, you are prompted to change it to pretty complex one (at least 10 characters, etc).
Once changed, I want to change it back to something else but it seems there is no user interface to change it anywhere. So I tried to hack it, like private edit pyPwdNew Validate rule but it is not possible no matter what. So, in the end, [email protected] is designed not to be changed after initial change? Keeping password as the same for good is against general password policy. Please let me know how to change it by a regular practice.

Hi,
You can set a Password Security policy to change the password after "x" days i.e password will expire after "x" days so that you will get a prompt to change the password. Please refer to the link below :
You can follow the below procedure also:
1. Login as [email protected]
2. Select Profile from the drop-down next to the operator name to view the Operator Profile
3. Select the Change Password button
4. Enter the password information and click Save.
