We have successfully implemented the Pega GenAI Knowledge Buddy using both the ingestion API and the Pega Knowledge Management application for data ingestion.

During our testing phase, a question arose regarding the scenario where we opt not to use the Pega Knowledge Management application and instead use an external repository for the data ingestion.

• We understand that utilizing the ingestion API is one method, but given the substantial volume of data in the external repository and the preference not to transfer this data to the Pega Knowledge Management application, are there alternative methods or strategies available to achieve this objective?

Could anyone provide guidance on how to configure the knowledge buddy to ingest data from an external repository please ?
