Unable to interrogate windows application

Hi,

I'm working on windows application; studio is able to launch the application but unable to interrogate it.

Any help is appreciated.

@GangaR16584219 I would check to see if the application you are launching is actually the same one you are interrogating. You can use a Tool like "Process Explorer" to determine that. You might need to adjust your StartMethod to use StartAndWait or potentially MonitorAll based on your observations with Process Explorer.

If you are unable to figure this out on your own, you can;

  • Reply with the properties of the current shortcut to the application
  • Take screenshots of the application in Process Explorer (so we can see the hierarchy)
  • Take screenshots of your Application (or Adapter if you are using 19.1) properties to see your Arguments, Path, TargetPath, and StartMethod properties.

You can also open an incident with our Global Support Team and they can join you on a WebEx to assist.

I have figured out the windows application as java application. Please find the below details and screenshots

Properties: 

Arguments = -classpath \\sv-hfi-xyz.xyz.xyz.org\xxx\xxx\jars\xyz.jar;C:\ProgramData\xyz\xyz\lax.jar;C:\ProgramData\3xyz\xyz\lax.jar; com.xyz.lax.LAX "C:/ProgramData/xyz/xyz/xyz.lax"

Path = C:\ProgramData\xyz\xyz\xyz\xyz\javaw.exe

Target Path = Blank

StartMethod = Start
