Interrogation Windows Application
Hello everybody!
We are trying to interrogate a windows application called ESecure KSI: https://www.genbeta.com/windows/esecure-ksi-explorer-una-completa-aplicacion-de-firma-electronica-avanzada
We are trying to interrogate the labels and buttons of the UI using windows application adapter. However, Pega only recognizes the objects as Controls and we don't know how to proceed (Images attached)
Do you know any alternative to interrogate this kind of elements (Excluding OCR functions)?
Note: Theorically, this is a java application. However, we couldn't find the jvn.dll that is specified here: http://help.openspan.com/191/Adapters_Interrogation/pr_Interrogating_a_Java_Application.htm

What you have described is basically an application that uses custom controls versus standard Java controls. In that case, a translator or other mechanism for communicating with them would need to be built. Since this is a Java application, you should be able to write your own UI Connector to interact with the controls.

A UI Connector is a custom translator that you write to tell Pega Robotics how to communicate with the application. The article is geared towards .Net, but Java is also supported.

In terms of OCR or anything else; you might have limited success there. You'd need OCR Essentials installed and then you can use the OCR methods on the Form control of the UI. I would certainly look into creating a UI Connector if you (or someone you have access to) has any Java development experience.
