Interrogation Pega Robotics with a virtualized application
Hello everybody!
We are trying to integrate a bot with an application that resides in a external server. We access to the application using RDP but when we interrogate the controls, Pega does not detect the labels/buttons but a "black screen" control.
Do you know if Pega supports interrogation to virtualized applications? If so, which technologies are supported? (Horizon, Citrix, etc)
Finally, are there different choices to OCR to interrogate the application?

Pega Robotics must be running on the machine with the application in order to interact with it. We do have a Citrix context that you can use to work with applications in a Citrix environment, however Runtime still needs to be installed on the Citrix server. You could also work with the application if it were packaged in App-V provided that interaction with external objects was enabled in the App-V "bubble".
In terms of screen OCR; what is available is really designed to do the most basic of things when no other options are available and certainly not for automating an entire application. I don't even know if it would work for an RDP session. I have not attempted that as even if you were able to click items on-screen, it would be much more unstable than getting Runtime installed with the application.
