This is likely due to an issue with your specific application. Since this is Chrome though, it is unlikely that the presence of Runtime is causing the issue since the Extension is running all of the time. I would suspect it is how you are automating the logout. I would look into that to make sure you are clicking the same link a user would. If that is the case, you'll likely need someone to look at your exact application.
