Windows Application interrogation issue
Hi,
I'm not able to interrogate the controls present in the windows application.
Basically, the main form is MDI Container and all the other forms are MDI Children.
Now all mdi children forms are having tab controls and each tab control will have the other controls( such as, check box, button, datagridview etc.,)
when I'm trying to interrogate the controls OpenSpan automation interrogator is always recognizing the tab control not the actual control which I'm trying to interrogate.
Any help would be appreciated.
OpenSpan version: 7.1.82
.Net Framework for OpenSpan Application: 3.5
.Net Framework used for Windows Forms Application: 4.0

Pega Robotic Automation Studio 8.0.1037 is able to find the controls present in VB.net TabPage.

If the controls are custom controls, you may need to request a translator through our product support team. We are adding the ability for you to construct your own in an upcoming release, but I do not have the date that this functionality will be available. You might also try using the Windows Controls tab and see if you can locate the controls there. Sometimes controls are layered such that you cannot grab them with the bulls-eye.

This is not custom control. it is purely VB.NET TabControl.
I could not able to find few controls in the form through Wndows Controls also.
Can you please let us know whether OpenSpan version 7.1.82 supports vb.net TabControl or not?

We do support .Net controls. Some VB controls however (like labels) do not actually get controls associated, and therefore cannot be interrogated.
