I recently earned my CSA certification on the 7.3-7.4 platform, but wanted to recreate the HRApps student assignment on a Pega 8.1.1 Sandbox environment my company setup for me. I am stuck because the HRApps assignment in the 7.3/4 version asks to create an Employee in the case's default "Create" view. This, in turn, loads the Employee fields in the default pyEnterCaseDetails section of the UI. However, in 8.1 there is NO CREATE VIEW default field. When I click "+Create a View" and make one, it creates a view but does not load and instead creates a pyCaseMgrCaseDetail UI that is does not load when I run the app.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I already checked the case design settings and have "unchecked" the "Skip Create view" but that didn't help. I also tried adding the reference to the Employee fieldgroup in the "Edit" and "Review" views but that still doesn't load anything. According to the Exercise guide, I should reference this field group in the "Create" view and NOT in a step and it should still load when I run my case. Any ideas???
