Pega PRPC 7.3 Opening Work in a Tab in User Portal
I am using Pega 7.3 to develop my application. When I click a workobject from the list of work, the work is getting opened in the actual screen. Instead, I have to open the Work in a new Tab. It would be of great help if you suggest any solution for this requirement.

Hi Sudha,
From 7.3 only we are not using the tabbed layout. The solution for your requirement is to identify the section which has the worklist and place inside a tabbed group.
Incase your using the OOTB Case manager portal then you would need to customize pyPortalContent Section accordingly.

Dear Shanthini,
Thank you for you response. I tried including the section holding the worklist inside Layout group of type Tab however when I clicked the workID its getting displayed in the full center screen. Please suggest if I am missing something. Also Can you detail on the customization required in pyPortalContent which has pyDashboard7 harness.

As per this article (https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-open-multiple-cases-time-case-manager-portal) see if you can drill down to pyPortalContent section. However please share the screen shots you have tried.

Thank you for your response, When I try to add the dynamic container to the tab group layout the screen is showing processing for long time, the dynamic container is not getting added. Please find attached the screenshot and let me know if I am missing something.

I tried implementing this by modifying pyCaseManager7 section to include tabbed layout and added the sections included in pyDashboard7 harness directly. But now the issue is i am not able to configure data transform when including sections but harness include has the option to configure data transform. Hence the dashboard contents are not loaded at beginning. If I click the dashboard navigation menu explicitly after logging in Manager portal the contents are loaded. Please let me know if you have any suggestions to handle this issue. Attached are the screenshots of the section change and the manager portal screen.
