Searchindex decreasing after a reindex
Hoi All,
We are experiencing ouder searchindex files getting bigger and bigger.
This is not an issue for, but when we perform a manual reindex we see the searchindex file size decreasing with many GB's.
We are now wondering how the searchindexe is being cleared on a daily basis.
Or, is is mandatory to run a manual resize indexing once and a while?

Hello Arjan,
Is this always a consistent behavior? Confirm if there are more than one nodes. By any chance you have multiple PRPC environments setup on the same instance?

Search consists of 3 parts. rules,data and work. Which of the 3 is getting reduced? This is unusual behavior. Also, are you indexing the attachments when doing manually?

Hi,
We are no having 4 PRPC instances running within 2 Websphere JVM's.
On each JVM we have 1 PRPC instance which is servicing Normal online users and 1 PRPC instance which is servicing File and JMSMDB listeners.
