Archive and purge reindexing

In Pega cloud instance, if the server is restarted search indexes becomes unavailable/ incomplete. 

In this case, indexing has to be triggered manually. 

If we have enabled archival policy for few cases and our system has archived data. 

Will manual re-indexing also index archived data ?
