Re-indexing in a database refers to the process of rebuilding or recreating the index structures associated with database tables.

In Pega, reindexing refers to the process of rebuilding search indexes to ensure that the search functionality in the application remains accurate and efficient. It involves updating the search index with the latest data and configuration changes.
When you perform reindexing in Pega, the system examines the data in the application's database tables and generates a new search index based on that data. This process improves search performance by organizing the data in a way that facilitates faster and more accurate search results.
Hi @intisarm,
In Pega, reindexing refers to the process of updating and rebuilding the search index for cases and data in the application. This ensures that the search index accurately reflects the current state of the data, improving search performance and data consistency. Reindexing is typically performed during system upgrades, structural changes, or to optimize search query responsiveness.
