How to disable the create button and the action menu button from the Instance toolbar for restricted users
I am unable to disable the Create button and the new rule action menu button from the view instance toolbar in developer portal
I have a requirement to create restricted user who should be able to see rules but not create any in the application. This create and new rule action menu allows to create rule.
Please suggest is there any way to hide or disable the button from the view instances toolbar

Can you look into the below help article and let us know if it helps.
If you give the specified privilege to that access role, that user will able to create the instance. Else, that user would not have that access to create.

Access to the Create form is restricted to users who hold the privilege @baseclass.ToolbarFullor @baseclass.ToolbarNew. Try to remove the privilege from the user for whom you want to control this.

I have already removed the baseclass privelage for toolbar, this restricts user from using(Save As, delete buttons..) in the rule form only, not in the rule instance list toolbar button

there is a when rule to control the disabling of the create button for the rule instance list - you probably can follow the similar approach there, this particular rule is final so you cannot override it. The when rule is part of the dynamic layout configuration. Use live UI to help you determine how it is implemented.

Hello I have question, how were you able to remove delete button, by removing the toolbarfull privilage, I was only able to remove the save as button. Did you change anyother privilage
