Update from PRPC7.1.7 to PRPC7.2
We are planning to update PRPC from 7.1.7 to PRPC7.2. While checking PRPC7.2 update guide, it's mentioned there to run "java –jar Update_Setup.jar" to open the update deployment tool. But in our PRPC7.2 full media package we don't see any jar named " Update_Setup.jar".
Could you please confirm if there is any separate media to run update?

Hi Animesh
From Pega 7.2 onwards Pegasystem provides separate distribution for Update (to move from 7.x to 7.2). I think you have Pega 7.2 upgrade distribution. Please raise a Pega SR requesting for the Pega 7.2 Update distribution, there you will find the jar file “Update_Setup.jar”

Thanks Sandeep. I already raised a SR and they also confirm the same. From PRPC7.2 we there is a separate update media available.

Check my previous comment, I guess you have downloaded upgrade distribution (to move from Pega 5.x/6.x to 7.x), please request update distribution (to move from Pega 7.x to 7.2)
