SOAP service issue after update from PRPC7.1.8 to PRPC7.2
Hi, We have updated our environment from PRPC7.1.8 to PRPC7.2. Our Application server is WebSphere Proprietary information hidden. Database Oracle 11g R2. After the update we are getting certificate error while calling SOAP service which was working fine before upgrade. We are getting below error while calling the SOAP service. We are using SOAP APIs provided by Salesforce to fetch data using a SOAP Connector in Pega. [ com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: PKIXCertPathBuilderImpl could not build a valid CertPath.; internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: The certificate issued by CN=VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5, OU="(c) 2006 VeriSign, Inc. - For authorized use only", OU=VeriSign Trust Network, O="VeriSign, Inc.", C=US is not trusted; internal cause is: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Certificate chaining error Could any one suggest some solution for this?

Hi Animesh

Retrieve the certificate from WebSphere Node Default TrustStore and Import the retrieved certificate directly into WebSphere Java 'cacerts' using ikeyman console in the signer certificate. This will solve your issue.

Thanks a lot Sandeep for your valuable input. We retrieve the certificate of third party host to which we are integrating and exported it from Websphere console. After that we imported it directly to Websphere Java cacerts using ikeyman tool and added the custom properties. After bouncing the server, issue got resolved.
