On WSDL re-import after upgrade from PRPC 5.4 to 7.1.8

Can you please confirm for any upgrade from Pega 5.4 to Pega 7.1.8 applications is it necessary re-importing of WSDLs for connect soap ?

Thank you for your reply , XML Page data type is not present in the request/response parameters in PRPC 7.1.8 but it was in PRPC 5.4, so after upgrade from 5.4 to 7.1.8 some of the connect soap rules from 5.4 with XML Page data type in SOAP request parameter will work in PRPC  7 env ?
