Migrating a simplistic app from UI-Kit to Theme-Cosmos in Pega Infinity traditional UI architecture

Pega Infinity's Section rule UI architecture -- based on Section rules, Skin rules, Dynamic Layouts, etc -- includes two "themes" for employee-facing enterprise applications:  UI-Kit and Theme-Cosmos. 

The attached article provides guidance for migrating simplistic applications built with this architecture from the UI-Kit theme (ui-kit ruleset and built-on) to the Cosmos theme (Theme-Cosmos ruleset and built-on).

Hope you already got idea how to migrate from  UI kit to Theme cosmos. If not follows these steps 

I think detail steps document already provided by above previous msg by @Sam Alexander  

If you are not able to access above document, I am attaching it again. 

Follow these steps 

  • Understanding Level of Effort

              The level of effort to migrate to Cosmos depends on several factors.       

  • Overview of configuring a development environment for migration
  • Create duplicate Application, Access Group, and Operator records
  • Using rulesets to manage changes, not branches.     
  • Steps to configuring our development environment.     
  • Migrating the view of a case.

             Un-overriding rules you should no longer override.        

  • Create a pyCaseMainInner from Theme-Cosmos ruleset

             Refactor sections to use design templates

             Customize the Summary Panel

             Customize the vertical tabs on a case.
