Word Merge Functionality Not Working
I am trying to use the Pega Word Merge functionality and cannot get it to work. I have defined a word template rule in the primary class of the work object, I have included the field codes ({pega:reference .Country}) in the document, I have installed/reinstalled silverlight and the prpc prerequisites multiple times, I have tried adding the URL to the list of trusted websites in Internet Explorer 11, and I have tried running IE as an administrator. Word merge simply refuses to take properties from the clipboard. It does however, find the word template and open the document with the static text that was defined in the word template rule.
The current version of Pega I am running is 7.1.7
Using Internet Explorer 11
Windows 7
Word 2010

So I take it, you are not presented with any errors either visually or in the logs. And the word template simply does not merge the relevant property values?
Have you done a Pega tracer to see if there is anything of note in there?

Hi Rett, and thank you for your prompt response.
I can run tracer and enable all settings but, unfortunately there are no warnings, exceptions, or fails when running the word merge. Similarly, I do not observe any additional lines in the logs when I run this. Is there any specific parameter I should be looking for when running tracer?

Have you try with [email protected] using the "WordEmbedMergeTest" case.
Is it the same behaviour ?
