What is different between Planning start date and Launch date in Pega Marketing

As I'm on configuring a Multi-Channel Campaign, I have a question about two kinds of date, Planning start date and Launch date.

What is different between Planning start date and Launch date.
I think if Launch date is configured, a Campaign is run at configured date and if Planning Start date is configured,a Campaign isn't run at configured date.
Planning start date is configured to check planned date,and It's not affect the system.

I want to check if this recognition is correct??

These dates are not used to actually run the campaign. They are just there for planning / information to show the expected / anticipated dates for the planning and actual launch / execution of the campaign.

The actual parameters for executing the campaign are configured in the Engagement section of the Build tab of the campaign configuration.

Planning start Specify the start date for the planning phase of this Campaign.
Planning end Specify the end date for the planning phase of this Campaign.
Campaign start Specify the anticipated launch date of this Campaign.
Campaign end Specify the expected end date of this Campaign.
