URL picking IE 7 instead of IE 11 for Pega 7.1.7

Hi ,

While hitting the URL "http://localhost:port/prweb" in IE 11 for Pega 7.1.7 and it is taking IE 7 instead due to which observing the improper login page . But the same is working in Chrome without any issues. Please give the solution for the same.

Hi Vamsi,

Please check the compatibility setting for your IE browser, if the compatibility is checked, please uncheck it and refresh the page.

Hi Vamsi,

As said by Rahul please change the compatibility of IE 11 browser. As Peg 7 is designed to run in Standards mode.

Also you can go to F12 developer options and check the mode to be Edge.

Hi Vamsi,

Also check if you have an instance pyMetaTags HTML rule in your ruleset setting the IE setting to the lower version. If available, remove the same and try using ootb rule. If that also doesn't work try with:

< meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge">
