Upgrade issue : copying the media file to server path
In migration process from version 7.1.9 to 7.3.1, we requested media files and saved it locally.
Do we have copy the entire media file to server path if we want to run .Sh file(once after editing migrate systemproperties file).
As media file contains 3.3 GB, we could not copy it to server path. Can we copy scripts folder alone to server path?
How it would impact? What would be work around for this?

Hello,
You don't need to run the scripts from the system that has Pega installed on it. Instead, you can run it from any system that can connect to the Pega database. It will be a little slower, but as long as the two systems are in the same network and have a good connection, it won't make a big difference.
You can't copy only the scripts directory, as the scripts need access to the rest of the media to actually run the proper queries.
