prconfig.xml file path for web application server

Hi,

Could you please advise on the server path for the prconfig.xml and prlogging.xml for WAS?

Hi Nagara,

Thanks for posting on PSC.

Pegasystems recommends location of prconfig.xml for different Application servers:-

- EAR (IBM WebSphere/ Oracle Weblogic / Red Hat JBoss) Default >>> Found in APP-INF/Lib/prresources.jar
- EAR (IBM WebSphere/ Oracle Weblogic / Red Hat JBoss) Externalized >>> As specified in application server settings.

  Ex:- \prpc_j2ee14_jboss61JBM.ear\APP-INF\lib\prresources.jar\ 

- In a WAR deployment, the prconfig.xml file is located under the contextroot directory in either the \WEB-INF\classes subdirectory or the \APP-INF\classes subdirectory. For example for a WAR deployment on Tomcat, this location is:

<app-server-install-root>\webapps\<contextroot>\WEB-INF\classes\

Example:

D:\apache-tomcat-5.5.16\webapps\prdbutil\WEB-INF\classes\prconfig.xml
