Unable to create repository in candidate systems (i.e in SE or QA) for devops(Deployment manager)
Hi All,
I have created repository is dev system but i am unable to create in SE or QA environment. i have operator id pointing to "PegaRULES:RepositoryAdministrator" and "PegaRULES:RepositoryUser" but still it is showing below error while creating repository.
Global resource settings are not supported with repositories. Please pick an authentication profile that does not have 'Provide secret access key by reference in clear text' checked.
I have tried by using DMAPPAdminOperator as well, i am trying to create FS as my repository.
I have set the password for all my operator id's /authentication profiles related to deployment manager package.
Please let me know who to i create repository other than dev environment.

What type of repo are you creating? Can you check/show the auth profile used in the repository configuration? Also indicate your Pega version.

Hi,
I am trying to create a file system as my repository, i don't think we need any auth profile for this type repository, it will just ask "resource path". I am using pega version 8.1.

I am using Orchestration and dev as one system with 8084 port (version Pega 8.2.1) and QA environment as one more system with 8080 port (version pega 8.1) i have successfully created repository in Dev system but not able to create a repository in 8080 port.

Hi,
I am trying to create Repository of type "File system" here just we have to give location. Please find the below screen shot i can able to create repository in DEv but not in other environments.
