How to create file system repository in DevOps

Hi All,

I am using 8084 port as my dev and orchestration server and 8080 port as my testing environment. I am trying to create File system repository by giving one folder path in my system, i am facing issuw while creating repository in my testing environment(8080 port) i am getting below error.

I am not facing any error in Dev or 8084 port. Please let me know how do i proceed.

Could you please confirm Dev or Orchestrator also on your system? Please ensure that folder path mentioned in repo configuration should be accessible to server on which repo is configured.

Hi, Yes Dev and orchestration server are in my system (8084 port) for SE environment i am using one of my teammate system (8080 port), i am able to create repository in my system (8084 port) without any issue. But SE environment I.e in my teammate laptop i am unable to configure FS repository with above mentioned location. All necessary package i have installed in both the systems. Please let me know how do i proceed . Regards, Sowmya

This is expected as your laptop cant access your desktop folder structure. Hence you need to setup a share file system which can be accessed by both systems. Or use repositories like JFrog, S3, etc.

Hi,

Is there any article where i get information about configuration of jfrog repository, because i am not sure what i have to give in host and repository key in jfrog.
