Creating File System type Repository

We were trying to create File System type repository. We have to define resource path during the process.

Assuming resource path is a file directory, we created a folder under webapps in tomcat and shared the folder for everyone. Then used it as resource path field.

Can anyone please verify whether this is correct approach as resource path field accept any value without validation.

When you enter a wrong path, you can still save the repository instance. But test connectivity fails.

Hi,

Should the folder be created in server path and give that path here? If i have to create in server path , where in server path i have to place this folder for this to connect successfully?
