we are using Pega 7.1.9 with CPM 7.12 off-late we see that our page load is taking time so wanted to check what is actual page load time . googling for the same found that we can use Chrome Developers tool Network tab in that DOMContentLoad & Load time to see the value . But when i do the same for our application, except for the initail portal load i do not see those 2 values in the Developer tool . is there any reason for that ? or should we have to do nay change to see those values ?
is this something to do with frames? or URL not changing so developer tool not able to figure out ?

The DOMContentLoaded event is fired when the initial HTML document has been completely loaded and parsed, without waiting for stylesheets, images, and subframes to finish loading.
Now, once the Pega portal is loaded, Pega typically use Ajax technology to refresh only part of the screen and so it doesn't reload the document. This is much better in terms of performance than reloading the whole page.
I suspect ( I haven't tested) that as the whole document is not loaded, you don't get DOMContentLoaded fired.
Assuming I'm right, you have to find a different approach.
