There is no Task categories tab in Case type settings
Hi Pega community!
I have created a case type rule in Constellation, but there is no "Task categories" tab in Case type "Settings" tab.
But when I tried to check in the Pega Lab instance, I can see the "Task categories" tab in Case type "Settings" tab.
Request you to please help me on this.

Hi @MarijeSchillern,
We have performed the steps given in the Pega Constellation Documentation.
When ever we try to switch the application, Application settings are overriding due to which Task Category tab is missing.
Currently we performed the steps again and using the constellation application and avoiding to do a switch application which resulted to fix the issue.

I have followed and completed the steps mentioned in the URL.
After completion, I can see API integration and Archival tabs but not Task Categories tab.
Could you please help me on this.

I followed the same steps listed in the documentation. I can see the Task Categories in the implementation layer (Pega version: 24.1). Please find the attached screenshot fro your reference.

We are using Pega Infinity 23.
In the link shared, it is mentioned that we need to Set up oAuth 2.0 client registration.
Can you please let us know if we need to follow any specific naming convention here, because it is mentioned anything about the naming convention. Remaining steps I have followed correctly including naming convention.

I think OAuth registration profile should be created automatically once you create the Constellation application in Infinity versions.
Please check Security -> oAuth 2.0 client registration -> PegaApp_AppName

@Kalashikam- InteractionClassGroup property should be updated in ApplicationSettings to the application class group of client implementation layer. The class name of InteractionClassGroup property should be updated with implementation layer which is missing in other instance.
Please verify both instance values.

Now I can see the Task Categories tab.
I have added a remote case In the Task Category but the case is not available on Add case button.
Do I need to do any for configurations to display the case on Add case button.
