Strategy results are not populated in the autogenerated dataflow during the campaign run

Pega Marketing 8.4

Strategy results are not populated in the autogenerated dataflow during the campaign run. But, when we run the same auto generated dataflow manually (after making a local copy) the strategy results are getting populated.

Also, if we do right click and preview on the strategy component in the auto generated dataflow  then we are able to see the strategy results populated. 

Could someone please explain why this behaviour and how we can resolve this issue?
