Stop running campaigns on Public holiday.
Hi All,
I have a requirement to stop running a campaign on Public Holidays . Is there any OOTB way of acheiving this?
I tried assigning a Business Calendar with required dates under Closed Days to the Work queue ScheduledPrograms of Pega-MKT engine, but it does'nt seem to take into effect.
Also tried, in the OOTB Organization PegaNBAM rule to add a calendar preference. still it continues to run.
For Campaigns,Work Queue Preferences does not work in Pega Marketing?
Last option, is to modify the ProcessProgramRun activity to include isBusinessDay check which I want to avoid.
has anyone encountered a siimilar situation & can shed some light on how they handled it. Please advice!!

You can select the weekdays( Eg., Monday to Saturday) while scheduling the campaign and it will run on those days only.
There is no direct support or no OOTB feature for the requested on to stop the scheduled run on holiday.
You would need to manually reschedule/cancel a specific run that was out of business needs.

Yea thats fine , but public holidays or country specific holidays need to be accounted for here, thats the requirement , hence we need a wayy to achieve this. Would modifying the ProcessProgram run activity would help?
