Split-For-Each slow down the performance for 500

I have a pagelist which has 500 + entries .I have to copy data from parent to child objects. While doing this data is copied from parent to all child objects , but after copy system continously shows the busy indicator though copying is completed. Thread-Dumps also observed in log. Any suggestions please ?

May I know, how you are copying data from Parent to Child.

Suggestion: Use agent to copy data from parent to child or child to parent to improve the performance.
