Rule Assembly vs Application based Assembly vs VTable
Is there any PDN article that explains the differences between and functioning of the following caches ?
- Rule Assembly cache
- Application based assembly cache
- VTable cache

Hello,
Rules Assembly cache tracks rules for which Java generation and compilation is complete. Formerly known as the FUA cache. Located in virtual memory; links to loaded Java classes.
Application-Based Assembly cache tracks rules for which Java generation and compilation is complete. Also known as ABA or AppCentric cache.
The Virtual Rules Table (VTable) is a higher performance replacement for Application-Based-Assembly (ABA) and Rules Assembly (RA). VTable significantly reduces the amount of assembly done in the system in response to rule changes.

your link helped me understand how Rule assembly works, but I am still not clear on the differences between the 3 modes.
For example in the the last link it states VTable cache as
Virtual rules table (VTable) mode of caching provides advantages over alternative caching approaches, such as rules assembly cache or application based assembly.
It just tells that VTable mode provides advantages over alternate caching approaches, but it does not tell what kind of advantages it has.
How are Application base assembly and VTable modes different from Rule Assembly mode?

Normally you don't need to concern yourself with the internal caching architecture. Is there some business reason you need this? We can't give a full implementation description through the Product support community forums. Can you be more specific on what you need to know ?

As mentioned in PDN_Help as
Note: Instances of most concrete classes other than those derived from the Rule- base class are not cached in the rule cache. So where does the instance of rules cached after rule resolution which are part of concrete classes?
