Google Analytics For IAC based application

Hi,

We have exposed which is exposed to the external user through IAC.

Does anyone has implemented Google Analytics for the IAC based applications.

Create a JS function with the GA code and then call the function from your control . Please let me know whether this trick worked ?

Hello

Google analytics allows you to embed their code in your application so that it can track and record the statistics for the site. Once you get the code you need to embed it into your application.

It sounds doable and I am sure multiple customer has tried and implemented it as well.

Hi Santanu,

I am able to implement the pageviews for the application.But here i am not able to capture the virtual page views.

Scenario: 

I have an application deployed on the IAC and it consists of 5 screens it means 5 assignments in the screen flow .

The IAC gadget renders in an web App in that Jsp file I ahe added the Google Analytics script, With that I am able to get the pageviews for the 1st page , But I want to track the page views for the other assignments.

As you know when we navigate between the assignments in IAC the URL will not be changed due to that Google Analytics script is not able to read the page views.       

To Get the Virtual Page views I have tried below approach.

1) Created 4 different controls and added into each assignment (i.e. in section corresponding to Flow action) and called GA script from each control with virtual page views .

 

Can you please suggest the approach to implement GA .
