Robotics runtime 8.0.2021 unable to shut itself down on Windows 10
When testing the new runtime 8.0.2021 on Windows 10, I found it unable to shutdown itself using the following method. After everything is done, the runtime still stays in memory.
The same solution worked with the old version 8.0.2007. The log entry 'Error reading Shutdown setting. Unexpected Setting: '' ' was found for both versions but the old version was able to shutdown. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I just found the release notes for one of the fixes in version 8.0.2023:
This hotfix changes the default for the Shutdown key in the RuntimeConfig.xml file to Immediate.
- Prior to build 2019, this key defaulted to Immediate.
- In builds 2019-2021, the default was changed to WaitForAutomation.
If you installed Robotic Automation Runtime build 2019-2021 for a new user, ensure that the Shutdown key is set correctly for your implementation.
I was just unlucky to choose the 2021. I tried to change the key to "Immediate" and that has done the trick. I will upgrade yo version 2023 or later. Please consider this issue resolved.

I would suggest that you open a support request as this sounds like a potential support issue. I am not experiencing this problem myself, so it may be with your solution, but getting hands-on with it is probably required.
