Problem with Facebook Connection with Pega
Hi All,
I am trying Facebook integration from Pega.

The steps i followed were below:
1. Created a New App named as pegasample.
2. Acquired the pre-requisite such as APP_ID,CODE_ID,CODE,ACCESS_token etc.,

3. Created the flow and sections, activity etc.,
4. ran the flow. now the tracer is not throwing any error.but, the Facebook app which is there is throwing this exception.
5. The article showed that the author has created 2accounts
1) PegaUSG (may be admin of the Page and app )
2) Hans Prummel ( his personal id)
the PegaUSG has created the PageTab https://www.facebook.com/unsupportedbrowser Adding an tab to a page i guess.
but, i can't find that option anywhere. i think PageTabs are the way to do? if there is other way please suggest it.
I understand that A new Page should be created and somehow an app should be linked with it.but how?

Hi All,
If any one is working on this:
pleas follow the below steps and it works for sure:
Step 1 : you create an app for eg: pega
Step 2 : login through facebook and create a page eg : pegatut
Step 3 : in order to link your page to an app. you need to go to Developers link in facebook (generally present in the right side below ads).
Step 4 : Go to Tools and support-> Graph API-> there you need to select an application from the drop down.
Step 5 : Below it you have 3 ways of access token generation
ok.so why do you need an access token? ( access token is an unique id which is generated and will figure out on which page or group or app you need to work)
Step 6: instead of the tradition approach where you do it with URL's
Spoiler : do you know that the access token obtained can only stay for a specific amount of time ? (eg : 24 hrs)
in order to increment the duration import the API of facebook onto eclipse or some IDE and run extended_access_token then you can get It till 2 months.
Step 7: as you have obtained the token. create an activity property-set.
add the access token obtained on to a property and as well as the callback.
Step 8: create a Connect-HTTP with get method and refer all the properties on the request tab.
Step 9: inorder to map them go to the same activity which is created earlier and then add a Connect-HTTP. with an endpoint utl of publish.

Past News : from July 2015 onwards the Publish is not free even to test unless till published,
so for that go to Developers->App->App review and select options such as
1. manage_pages
2. publish_actions
3. publish_pages
For this you need to add a video and then await for the reply which happens from 3 to 7 working days.
Step 10 : once approved as the Connect-HTTP is all mapped to take values from clipboard.
Step 11: add a section with Facebook_ID property if you followed the link which got you here.
and also a message
Facebook_ID is the Page onto which you need to post.
if timeline of an user then his user id slug.
what is a slug ?(the numericals in the URL)
like say facebook.com/pages/11233333
now here facebook id is 11233333.
Step 12 : once done your post will be published or posted onto a page.

When i run it what must the facebook_id be username with which we log in?
if so we didn't configure the password for it right?
