Place holder for currency field is not displayed
Hi All,
For currency field in 25.1.1 V, Constellation application, if we provide a place holder, it is not displayed.
Is it expected behavior?

I think this is expected for the currency control in Constellation. The currency field is a formatted input, so it does not support placeholder text like a normal text field. Because of this, even if we configure a placeholder in the field, it will not display in the UI. As a workaround, we can use a clear label and helper text under the field to guide the user. We can also add a tooltip or description if we need to give more instructions.

@KRISHNAMOHAN Pokala I could not find any specific Pega documentation that clearly states this behavior for currency placeholders in Constellation. For an official reference to share with the client, I would recommend raising an SR with Pega Support so they can confirm it in writing. Good luck, thanks
