Pega auto generated rule saved into unexpected ruleset
Hi,
In Pega 24.1, there are some scenarios the auto genrated rule saved to unexpected ruleset. (Production ruleset with open ruleset version)
- when we convert section to use a design template, a view will be auto genereated at the same time and saved to unexpected ruleset
- When configure the data source for a data type, the auto genereated data page will saved to unexpected ruleset
- ...
How could we control the atuo generated rule to save in a specified ruleset? For example, saved into a branch ruleset.

Production ruleset should only be present in prod. Are you updating rules in prod? Pega is designed to add those in the highest available ruleset.

We are use the production ruleset to keep the rules for email template, short message template, decision tables that them can be configurable in our prod. And for test purpose, the ruleset also added into the application for dev and test environment.

Can you try to make your changes after turning on branch development toggle? In lower environment, prod ruleset might overwrite it but try it.
