Pega 8.1 installation issue

I am trying to install Pega personal edition 8.1 in windows 7.When I try running install.bat the command prompt opened and closed immediately. I also tried running install.bat as administrator, but doesn't work. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Prasanna,

There will be a error message printed on command prompt. If the window was closing immediately add the pause command in the install.bat script at the end so even if the error occurs the screen will stay so that you can capture the error.

Hi Prasanna,

I suspect there is some issue with java version.can you run java -version in command prompt.Either java is not installed properly or you environment variable is not set.Please verify and update.
