Installation of Pega 8.1 Personal Edition aborted

Hello,

I started the installation according to the manual. However, after several seconds the installation is showing an error message and is aborted.

It requests to create a folder. However, it demands a certain folder type (Datenbankclusterverzeichnis) which I can't do. So the installation is aborted. There is no information regarding this folder, so I'd ask you for your support: What do I have to do to solve the installation problem.

Hi, actually it was an permission problem on the company laptop. It was just strange because the installation process was not aborted right when creating the first folder but later.

I solved the problem by installing Pega on another folder on the harddisk which was not restricted.
