Pega Personal edition 8.1

I am trying to install Pega personal edition 8.1 in windows 10. When I try running install.bat the command prompt opened and closed immediately. I also tried running install.bat as administrator, but doesn't work. Ant help is appreciated.

Try opening the command window first and navigate to the directory where the install.bat is located.  Then run install.bat and take note of any errors that show up.  Also check to see if the log file for the install has logged any details.

There are few things which you can take care of :- 

1) Stop your AntiVirus.

2) Should have admin Access and allow Java to run.
3) If you have already Started the installation and it got failed, then you have to delete the Directory which has been created by the wizard.(Restart the System, Start from Step 1)
4) Try to Use default directory.
Hope this will work.

if it is an JVM error 
try this below steps 
1)Right click on my computer and select properties
2)Then Select Advanced Tab on the top of the window
3)In advanced Section ,Select Evironment Variables 
4)In Evironment Variables click on New
5)Then there will an windows popup 
Add 
 
Variable name=_JAVA_OPTIONS
Variable value : -Xmx512M -Xms300M​
 
 
 
If it an issue with personal edition 
clear the previous version folders 
make sure you have deleted PRPCPersonalEdition Folder 
 
then try again installing PEGA 8.1 by running install.bat file
